Save yourself an inconvenience at the entrance. Here's a list of things you should leave at home when visiting the Spanish Grand Prix. What can you bring and what is forbidden?

  • Bags and backpacks with a capacity of more than 15 litres
  • Suitcases or trolleys
  • Glass, metal, ceramic or wooden containers
  • Cans, glass or steel bottles
  • PET bottles larger than 1500 millilitres

  • Tents, sleeping bags
  • Bicycles
  • Scooters
  • Camping chairs and tables (you can use them only in the General Admission zones)
  • Animals

WHAT CAN YOU BRING ALONG?

  • Food and soft drinks. These can be in a plastic bottle of up to 1.5 litres or in a tetra-pack container.
  • Umbrellas and camping chairs - but only for General Admission zones. It's a good idea not to obstruct anyone's view with your equipment and that is why these items are prohibited on the grandstands.
  • Prams
  • You can take photos and videos on the circuit, but you are not allowed to use professional equipment. Actually, you don't need to be afraid of taking a high quality camera with a telephoto lens and a tripod. However, you might have a problem with a large professional camera.
  • Flags, banners, and team gear are very welcome at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, just make sure they’re not offensive, insulting, or blocking anyone’s view, and you’re good to go!
  • You can bring power banks to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as long as they are small, for personal use, and don’t require special outlets or equipment.
  • You can bring refillable plastic water bottles to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. It's actually encouraged, as the circuit provides free water refill stations throughout the venue to help fans stay hydrated. Just remember that glass and metal bottles are not permitted, so opt for a smaller plastic bottle to ensure compliance with the venue's regulations.

WHAT IS PROHIBITED ON THE CIRCUIT DURING A GRAND PRIX?

  • Alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately, alcohol is completely banned on the circuit. You can only buy soft drinks - water and lemonade - or non-alcoholic beer at the stands.
  • Bicycles, scooters and any other means of transport must be left outside the circuit.
  • Cannons, flares, smoke bombs and other pyrotechnic devices are also officially prohibited and if you use them at the circuit, you risk being immediately removed from the venue.
  • Professional audio-visual equipment. If the security personnel believe that you are filming professionally, they have the right to ask you to hand over the footage.
  • Banners, flags, symbols, or other signs that promote violence or terrorism, or that threaten, insult, or harass any individual or group, are strictly prohibited.
